Absolutely! Our ACLS Recertification course offers continuing education credits. All courses provided by ACLS Medical Training are accredited by the Postgraduate Institute for Medicine and offer AMA PRA Category 1 Credits™ (with additional accreditations from ANCC, ADA, and ACPE). If you’re certifying for the first time, you’ll earn eight (8) CE credits. For bi-annual renewals, four (4) CE credits are awarded. After passing the ACLS Recertification exam with a score of 80% or higher, you’ll receive the appropriate number of continuing education credits.

If you’ve previously been certified, our more cost-effective ACLS Recertification course is ideal, even if your last certification was with a different organization or has temporarily lapsed. However, if your ACLS certification has been expired for 12 months or more, we recommend enrolling in the full ACLS Certification course.

Your ACLS provider card, earned through ACLS Medical Training, is valid for two (2) years from the date you successfully pass the ACLS Recertification exam.

After passing the recertification exam, you’ll instantly receive a digital copy of your ACLS provider card via email. You’ll also get instructions for online employer verification. The card will include your name, the issue date, the renewal date, and the ACLS Medical Training logo.

The length of an ACLS renewal class depends on the course provider and format, typically ranging from a few hours to a full day. For example, in-person classes may last 4-6 hours, while online courses, such as those offered by ACLS Medical Training, allow you to complete the material in a few hours at your own pace.
