How Our Courses Work

STEP 1 – Sign Up

Select which course(s) you would like to take and complete the course registration page/checkout. Upon completing the secure checkout, you will have instant access to the course and certification exam.

STEP 2 – Study

All of our BLS, ACLS and PALS curriculum is designed to be inclusive, comprehensive, and streamlined. They include what you need to know about the current guidelines and recommendations. If you are recertifying, note there have been some changes from the previous guideline recommendations. These updates are clearly marked in the provider manual (and they will show up on the exam).

STEP 3 – Take the Exam

Once you feel comfortable with the curriculum, it is time to take the examination. While the certification exam is not timed, it does need to be taken in one sitting. You need to achieve a passing score of 80% or better in three or fewer attempts.

STEP 4 – Receive Your Provider Card

Immediately upon passing your exam, you will be able to download/print a digital provider card. The card is valid from the moment you pass the examination for a period of two years.
